So I Started Watching Slam Dunk...

So I recently started Slam Dunk (I know crazy right?) and from just watching 3 episodes, I can see some differences it has from other shows. Good differences. Even small stuff like when the Main Character, Sakuragi Hanamichi, got yelled at by his crush and attempted to commit suicide by jumping off the roof of the school. I thought that was funny and it was probably meant for comedy. I just don't see stuff like that in today's anime (maybe I'm not looking hard enough idk) but I know that wouldn't go with how society is today being all sensitive. No offense. 😉 Back on topic I love the scene where the Sakuragi was taking deep breaths and that's all you could hear. No music or crowd cheering, nothing. AND I LOVED THAT! Being such an old anime I'm surprised I've never seen that before in anime I've watched. Again it's just the small things I notice that makes me enjoy the show even more and where I can see the originality in the show as wel

Togashi sends more flowers to Keyakizaka46

Togashi sends more flowers to the Japanese idol group, Keyakizaka46, as congratulations for their 2nd anniversary of their major debut for their song "Silent Majority" in which they held a concert in Japan last weekend on April 6-8, 2018. For those of you that don't know, Togashi is a really big fan of Keyakizaka46 where he talks about them occasionally in his author comments from Weekly Shonen Jump and even references them in his manga! Togashi had sent congratulations flowers to the Japanese idol group Keyakizaka46 back in January this year and obviously still enjoys and supports them as much as he can. Here's a thread put together from the instances of Togashi showing his love of the group and see if you had spotted the references he slipped in Hunter x Hunter! https://twitter.com/OfficialHxH/status/973075534644109312?s=19
